Here’s a simple tip about how our mommy, Catherine, has improved her photography. We’re “paw-ing it forward” so that it can help you, too.

This tip is to simply… Look Up.

Here's an article on how "looking up" can present unique photo opportunities for you - with examples of how it's helped our mommy take better pictures.

Dear Sprinkle Goodness Reader,

Looking for photos for your business or project needs? Are you a photographer seeking photo inspiration? My photo site www.StockImageIdeas.com can help.

On May 27th, the second newsletter for "Stock Image Ideas" was sent out among readers. It shares the following photography ideas: A “turtle cupcake” with a summer theme, an image about “Speaking the Truth,” and a “graduation” inspired owl photo described here.

Here's what else is new.

As our pets would say, this is a good article to "paw forward." It's about why some people succeed faster than others. It reminded me how important it is to focus on one area of my business and do it really well. Hope it helps you too. You can see the article here

A FREE Recording of The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale and More

Posted by Catherine and the Paws-itive Pets on April 30, 2016 at 7:50 PM Comments comments (0)

Dear Sprinkle Goodness Reader,

This month Catherine found a “treasure find” on Twitter. She saw someone's post about Nightingale-Conant. They were offering one of the best self-help, life-changing recordings, ever, for free!!

The recording is called “The Strangest Secret” by Earl Nightingale. If you’re looking for “the ultimate secret” for success in life, you absolutely, “paws-itively” must listen to this.

We hope the link where you can access this timeless recording from Nightingale-Conant still works. If it does, you can download “The Strangest Secret” for free, here.

That was our “Paws-itive” news for the month April.

What else was new this month?

In “Creative Living,” Catherine launched our “first” “Stock Image Ideas for You” newsletter!! If you’re a photographer looking for ideas, or a photo buyer, you can see the archive of our first issue here.

Lastly, in “Pet Travel,” there’s a “purr-fectly” cool place where you can search for and find "pet-friendly" hotels, motels, resorts, cottages, and more -- throughout North America here

Sincerely,

Angel, the “Paws-itive” Kitty

P.S.: On a mini personal note, Catherine was happy to see the amazing, wild groundhog return to our property. He showed up earlier this month. Catherine and Matt call him, “Phil,” the groundhog. Here’s a photo of him.

What Spiritual Pets are and our First Christian Message for Easter

Posted by Catherine and the Paws-itive Pets on March 26, 2016 at 2:50 PM Comments comments (0)

Dear Sprinkle Goodness Reader,

“Spiritual Pets.”

What’s that? It’s an idea Catherine came up with “years” ago. Pets bring such joy and healing to our lives – just as our faith brings joy and healing to our spirits.

“Should “Spiritual Pets” then be about how pets heal us?” Catherine pondered.

There are already numerous good books, articles, and testimonies sharing the “healing power” of pets.

So Catherine recently decided on a new theme for “Spiritual Pets”: What if we, the “paws-itive” pets, or other animals, share mini lessons of faith with you in short video clips?

For example, in our Easter YouTube video, we have a traditional looking Easter basket with colourful eggs, but our video also reminds people that Easter is a spiritual time. It even includes an inspirational Easter Bible verse.

Actually, it’s a “wild rabbit” that gets the honour of sharing this spiritual message with you. Catherine saw him hopping around in our yard and captured a little film footage of him.

Here is our video with a “guest appearance” from a wild rabbit (a.k.a. the “Easter Bunny") reminding people that Easter is a spiritual holiday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBqWg9ROckk

Enjoy!

Sincerely,

Daisey, the “Paws-itive” Beagle

P.S.: If you’d like to learn more about the Christian meaning of Easter, here is a good article explaining what Easter is.

Building a Marriage that Lasts Fur-Ever: 3 Inspiring Sources

Posted by Catherine and the Paws-itive Pets on February 14, 2016 at 8:00 PM Comments comments (0)

Dear Sprinkle Goodness Reader,

“What the world needs now is love, sweet love

It's the only thing that there's just too little of

What the world needs now is love, sweet love

No, not just for some, but for everyone.”

Those lyrics are sung by Jackie DeShannon.

Catherine first discovered this song, "What The World Needs Now Is Love” from the movie, Forrest Gump.

It seems like a “purr-fect” song for Valentine’s Day and Catherine wishes the world love … God’s love.

God intends marriages to last. And, there are good people out there, supporting marriage through mediums such as movies and books. Catherine is grateful for that. She wants to “paw-forward” three sources (one movie, two books) that support marriage, include Jesus (yeah!!), and help marriages last … “Fur-Ever”!

You can discover what they are here.

Angel, the "Paws-itive" Kitty

Dear Sprinkle Goodness Reader,

Love travelling? Love kitties?

Now you can get the best of both worlds. There are “Cat Cafés” located around the world! It’s an opportunity to pet and play with cats, while relaxing with a cup of coffee if you wish.

So if you enjoy cafés and love cats... be sure to take a look at this Fodor’s Travel article about Cat Cafés if you are visiting any of these destinations:

• Oakland, California

• New York City

• Vienna, Austria

• London, England

• Madrid, Spain

• Osaka, Japan

• Budapest, Hungary

• Berlin, Germany

• Singapore

• Chiang Mai, Thailand...

While browsing the article, you’ll get details on 10 different Cat Cafés in these destinations. Nine of them include website addresses (and one includes a phone number) – so you can plan a “purr-fectly” interesting side trip.

If you do visit a Cat Café, we hope you’ll share your experience with us!

Thanks so much, and happy “cat-themed” travels!

Sincerely,

Buster, the “Paws-itive” Kitty

P.S.: One other reason we wanted to “paw-forward” this article with you, is that these Cat Cafés often exist to help cats find “forever” homes. So if you happen to find a kitty you’d love to adopt while you’re at a Cat Café, we hope you’ll tell us about it, too!

Pet Travel: A Dog-Friendly, Dino-Theme Park that the Movie "Jurassic World" Reminded Me of

Posted by Catherine and the Paws-itive Pets on January 9, 2016 at 2:05 PM Comments comments (0)

Dear Sprinkle Goodness Reader,

Jurassic World. What a movie.

There are some scenes I can’t watch. But overall – the whole world of dinosaurs coming to life again – and the drama, suspense, and action of the movie, captivates me. (I’m a fan of the previous three Jurassic Park movies, too.)

If you haven’t seen the latest movie, Jurassic World, the dinosaurs are back in a hugely successful theme park, with over 20,000 visitors every day. But when the latest creation -- the Indominus Rex -- breaks free, it turns into an urgent situation to save people’s lives.

The movie – and the rekindled interest of dinosaurs -- reminded me of a dinosaur-theme park in the U.S.A. It’s a...

Dinosaur-Theme Park Where Doggies are Welcome!

This dinosaur-theme park is safe though! The dinosaurs are not alive. They are, however, “the world’s largest collection of life size dinosaurs.” It’s called Dinosaur World, and there are three theme park locations to choose from – one in Florida, one in Kentucky, and the other in Texas.

Pet traveller, Maddie, has explored the Dinosaur World in Kentucky with her dog. She shared her experience with us last year, and we’d like to “paw-forward” her article and experience of travelling with her dog to Dinosaur World.

Her story includes a stay in a doggie hotel in Glasgow, Kentucky. How cool!

Here it is. Enjoy!

Sincerely,

Catherine

YouTube Video: Daisey's Superpower Grows Stronger at Age 10

Posted by Catherine and the Paws-itive Pets on December 3, 2015 at 7:40 PM Comments comments (0)

Dear Sprinkle Goodness Reader,

Daisey here. I turned 10 years old this summer. And my “Superpower” is better than ever!

It’s a “Superpower” I had when I was a younger beagle; however, I seemed to have lost my powers for a little while. But thanks to vet visits, some medical care, and a change in my diet – my “Superpower” is back!!

There’s no stopping me now.

What is my “Superpower”?

I’ll give you a little clue. I remind Catherine and Matt of the famous Superheroes such as Underdog, Superman or Supergirl when I do this... and it’s not just the amazing cape and outfit I wear in my YouTube video: https://youtu.be/31oFhW7b0lQ

So what can I do?

I can leap over tall barriers in a single bound!

It’s almost like I'm flying. You can see my “Superpower” here on YouTube: https://youtu.be/31oFhW7b0lQ

Enjoy!

Photo Greeting: Bear Wishes Everyone a Happy Thanksgiving Weekend

Posted by Catherine and the Paws-itive Pets on October 9, 2015 at 5:30 PM Comments comments (0)

Dear Sprinkle Goodness Reader,

It's Thanksgiving Weekend here in Canada, and we just wanted to say, "Happy Thanksgiving!!"

Here is a photo of a bear that visited our property in the summer-time...

This bear sure enjoyed the bird seed in our feeder.

A Quick Photo Tip: I got this bear photo "safely" from my office window. My office is upstairs on the second floor of our home, so this photo was taken "very safely." I opened the screen of my window and took many pictures to get at least one image that turned out well. I'm grateful this photo turned out and that I can share it with you now.

Sincerely,

Catherine, Matt and all our Paws-itive Pets!
